Erika Ninoyu
Music Instructor
Erika Ninoyu is a percussionist, pursuing a B.A. degree in Music Education at the University of Alaska, Anchorage. She was commissioned as an educator and musician for East Anchorage High School, teaches percussion through EnviroBEAT, and teaches privately. She has played for various groups, including the Anchorage Jazz Ensemble, UAA Wind Ensemble, and EnviroBEAT. Erika is passionate about what brings color to our lives: self-expression through performing and visual arts. Her background in music, dance and art allows her to openly transcend through the art forms to create unique pieces. She hopes to continue this exploration throughout her life and share this passion with others.
